Machamuni Siddhar (மச்சமுனி சித்தர்).

                    தளராமல் நீயும் தன்னிலை பற்றியே
                        தளராமல் அந்த தானம் குறித்திடுக்
                    களராத விந்தை கண்டு செலுத்தினால்
                        உலராது காயம் உண்மையில் திண்ணமே
                    திண்ணமாய் நின்று செபமது செய்தபின்
                        உண்ணவே கற்பம் உறுதி மனம் தோறும்
                    மென்னவோ என்ற இருந்து மருகாதே
                        பொன்னணி மூலம் பொருந்திய வாசியே                     
                                  - யோகம் ஞானம் வைத்தியம்.
          
விளக்கம்:
மனம் தளராமல் மூலாதாரத்தினை கண்டு அதில் உள்ள விந்தை வீணாக்காமல் மேல் செலுத்திட
உடல் அழியாது உறுதியுடன் நின்றிடும்.இவ்வாறு செய்த பிறகு கற்பம் உண்டிட உடலானது
உறுதி பெற்றுத் தேறிடும். கற்பம் என்றால் என்னவென்று தெரியாமல் விழித்திட வேண்டாம்
அது மூலாதாரத்தில் உள்ள வாசியே ஆகும். அதாவது வாசியோகம் சரியான குருவின் 
மேற்பார்வையில் கற்று செய்திட, அண்ணாக்கின் மேல் அமுது சுறக்கும், அதுவே 
அகக்கற்பம் என்கிறார் மச்சமுனி சித்தர்.

Machamuni Siddhar is called Machindranath or Matsyendranath in the northern part of India and Machamuni in south India.
Once when,Shiva was transferring his divine knowledge to Paarvathi nearby a sea, she slept in the middle and a fish in the sea caught the teachings of lord Shiva.
Later, the fish got enlighten and to understand the remaining things it took birth as Machamuni in the world.
Since Machamuni was born with the blessings of lord Shiva, he naturally had the divine search.
He was brought up by Siddhar Pinnakeesar.
Understanding the impermanence of human life, he in search of truth got teachings from Siddhar Kakapujandar.
He followed vaasiyogam and awakened his kundalini energy to understand his inner self and attain siddhis.
After 12 years of vaasiyogam, he got astamasiddhis and pronounced his major works in Siddha medicine system.
By tremendous efforts and constant practice of meditation and yoga he realized the true nature of the Self.
After learning Siddha medicine, alchemy, gnana and Siddha yoga philosophies, by the dint of his deep meditation he proposed many theories in the space and atomic sciences.
He also donated all his wealth to poor people on attaining spiritual salvation.
He mentored Siddhar Korakkar and transferred his knowledge to him.
He attained jeeva samathi in Thiruparankundram in Tamil nadu.
